Stop EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin's Attacks On Free Speech

The EPA just suspended about 140 employees for daring to speak out. This is a blatant attack on free speech, and we can’t let it stand.

These employees signed a letter criticizing EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin for gutting climate protections and putting politics over science. Instead of listening, the EPA punished them. That’s terrifying and a massive break with American tradition.

Silencing whistleblowers is what polluters want. When experts are muzzled, communities pay the price. As reported by Common Dreams and others, shocked EPA workers are speaking out, but fear is spreading fast. If we don’t act now, more truth-tellers could be silenced.

Tell Congress and the Office of Special Counsel: “Investigate EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin’s witch hunt against dissent and free speech. Protect whistleblowers and the rights of federal workers before it’s too late.”

The public servants who were suspended stood up for science and accountability. They should be applauded—not punished.

We demand immediate action. Congress and the Office of Special Counsel must investigate these suspensions and enforce whistleblower protections. Every suspended worker must be reinstated now. And Zeldin must be held accountable.

The EPA is supposed to defend our environment—not attack its own scientists. If we want effective government and stewardship of our natural resources, we must defend the people brave enough to speak the truth.

Sign now to demand a full investigation and protection for EPA whistleblowers. Our future depends on it.

The petition to Congress and the Office of Special Counsel reads: “Investigate EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin’s witch hunt against dissent and free speech. Protect whistleblowers and the rights of federal workers before it’s too late.”
