Stop Trump from Bombing Iran

Donald Trump is openly threatening military strikes against Iran—going so far as to call its Supreme Leader an “easy target.”

He’s now reportedly weighing orders to bomb Iran’s underground nuclear sites using so-called bunker‑buster bombs—a reckless escalation that risks triggering catastrophic regional war and potential global conflict.

We must act immediately to prevent any U.S. military action without Congress's consent.

Only Congress has the constitutional authority to declare war. Any strike ordered by Trump—especially one utilizing bunker‑buster bombs—without explicit congressional authorization would be unconstitutional and a blatant abuse of power.

That’s why Republican Rep. Thomas Massie’s new War Powers resolution is vital. It reiterates that the president cannot initiate military action against Iran without Congress. Lawmakers must pass this measure now, before it’s too late.

A U.S. strike could provoke massive retaliation, imperil American troops and allies, destabilize global energy markets, and spiral into a protracted humanitarian crisis. Already, the U.S. has surged tens of thousands of troops and warships into the region—not for defense, but as a prelude to possible offensive operations.

Trump’s threats are not grounded in national security—they’re political posturing ahead of an election year. Americans across the political spectrum oppose being dragged into yet another war. We must not allow one man’s ego to override our democracy and endanger millions of lives.

Add your name to our petition to demand your representatives support the Massie resolution and block Trump’s illegal and catastrophic war with Iran. The time to act is now.
